TPT Decision Builder

You Know What Matters When You Decide. Does Your Business?

When the same kind of business decision comes around again, the reasoning behind it shouldn't get lost.

TPT Decision Builder is being developed to help you turn your judgment into an AI-assisted Decision Application you own, built around real examples, clear boundaries, and testing before you rely on it.

The challenge is not simply getting another answer. It is making the standards behind your decisions clear enough that the next similar situation can be handled with the same discipline, even when the facts, tradeoffs, or exceptions are different.

That means making visible what matters, what evidence you need, where the boundaries change the decision, and when the judgment still belongs with you. The goal is not to automate your judgment away. It is to make that judgment easier to examine, test, and carry forward.

THE COST OF MISSED JUDGMENT

What Is It Costing Your Business When That Judgment Gets Missed?

Think repeated corrections, rework, delays, and the time spent reviewing decisions that didn't account for what matters. The cost isn't always one dramatic mistake. It can be the steady accumulation of second reviews, inconsistent handling of similar situations, missed distinctions, and decisions that keep returning to your desk because the reasoning behind them was never clear enough to carry forward. Different circumstances may deserve different answers, but your business shouldn't have to rebuild the same judgment from scratch every time. That recurring burden is worth making visible before deciding what needs to change.

WHEN IMPORTANT JUDGMENT STAYS IMPLICIT

Different Facts Can Deserve Different Decisions. The Discipline Should Still Be Consistent.

A recurring decision does not need the same answer every time. The facts can change. The tradeoffs can change. A real exception can change what the right decision is.

The problem is what happens when the reasoning itself is unavailable: the criteria that matter, the evidence that should count, the boundaries that change the answer, and the authority to act.

Then similar situations can be handled differently for the wrong reasons, or handled poorly because an important distinction was missed. The business may feel that as repeated corrections, rework, delays, inconsistent customer or operating experiences, and more decisions returning to the owner for review.

Decision Builder is being developed for that operating condition. The aim is not to remove the owner from judgment that should remain theirs. It is to make the relevant reasoning more explicit and examinable so it can be applied with better decision discipline when the same kind of decision returns. Owner involvement can be necessary. Rebuilding the same reasoning every time does not always need to be.

One Decision. Three Connected Parts.

A Method to Test, Refine, and Maintain.

WHAT YOU’RE BUILDING

A Decision Application Built Around Your Judgment

The intended result is My Decision Application: the complete customer-created result for one defined, recurring decision family. It is not meant to be another one-off AI answer or a collection of prompts you must reinterpret every time. It is designed to preserve the reasoning behind your decisions: what matters, what evidence you need, where boundaries or exceptions change the answer, and when the judgment still belongs with you.

But a decision method alone is not enough if you cannot challenge it or understand what has changed. That is why My Decision Application is designed around three connected parts: a core that makes your reasoning explicit, retained cases and checks that test it, and a record of meaningful revisions. Together, they are intended to make your judgment something you can examine, test, refine, and govern as the same kind of business decision returns.

Decision Application Core / Decision Method

The core makes your decision standards explicit: the evidence that matters, the criteria you use, the tradeoffs you weigh, and the exceptions that change what should happen. It also establishes where a decision can proceed and where your judgment or qualified expertise is still required.

Regression Test Pack

A decision method needs more than a convincing answer. Your Regression Test Pack is designed to retain real decision cases and specific checks that challenge the reasoning, expose overlooked exceptions, and reveal weaknesses. After a meaningful change, you can revisit those cases to examine what still holds, what may have changed, and what needs further review.

Version & Change Record

Business judgment evolves as new evidence, exceptions, and lessons emerge. Your Version & Change Record is designed to keep the current application version and meaningful revisions traceable: what changed, why it changed, and what may need further review or testing. That history helps you carry your Decision Application forward without losing sight of the reasoning, standards, and boundaries behind it.

THE GUIDED EXPERIENCE

A Clear Route. An Application You Build.

You don't begin with a blank AI prompt and hope for a dependable answer. You begin with one recurring business decision that matters, real examples of how you've handled it, and the judgment behind those choices.

Each supporting resource has a specific purpose. Together, they're designed to help you prepare the evidence, make your reasoning more explicit, challenge your assumptions, and work toward a Decision Application you can examine, test, and govern.

The goal isn't another collection of disconnected templates. It's a guided path toward something built around your business, your standards, and the exceptions that make sound judgment necessary.

You do not need a finished procedure, a complete history of your business, or perfect records before you begin. The starting point is a manageable set of real decisions from one defined decision family. What the records establish, what you remember, and what remains uncertain should stay distinguishable. An evidence gap is something to examine, not a blank to fill with a confident-sounding rule.

What makes the guided build different from simply asking AI for advice is the discipline surrounding the work. Decision Builder is being developed to help make the reasoning explicit, challenge it with independent cases, and preserve the boundaries where owner judgment or qualified expertise still matters. The intended result is not a conversation you have to reconstruct later, but a decision method, retained tests, and a change history you can identify and govern.

Deeper Guidance When You Need It

The Companion Manuscript provides additional explanation of the principles behind the work. It's an optional reference, not another required stage in the process.

The destination: My Decision Application, the customer-created result that brings your decision method, retained testing, and change history together.

YOUR PATH TO A DECISION APPLICATION

Prepare Your Evidence. Build Your Decision Application.

Start Here

Start Here gives you a clear picture of what you're building, how the resources fit together, and what to bring before you begin. It introduces the route through Case Prep and the guided Builder while helping you recognize where sensitive information, owner judgment, or qualified expertise requires extra care.

Case Prep Workbook

The Case Prep Workbook helps you prepare real past decisions and available evidence before entering TPT Decision Builder. Gather the facts, context, constraints, exceptions, and outcomes you can substantiate, while identifying what remains missing or uncertain. This is where you organize the material you'll bring into the guided experience, not where you analyze the cases, settle the judgment, or test the application.

TPT Decision Builder

TPT Decision Builder is the guided digital experience being developed to help you build My Decision Application from one recurring decision family. It is designed to help you make your judgment explicit, challenge it with independent cases, refine weak spots, and prepare the application, its tests, and its change record for owner-governed use. The Builder guides the process; the Decision Application is the result you create and retain.

HOW DECISION BUILDER IS DESIGNED

Six Stages From One Recurring Decision to an Owner-Governed Application

One recurring business decision can involve changing facts, competing tradeoffs, and exceptions that make a fixed rule unreliable. TPT Decision Builder is being developed as a six-stage guided experience that starts with how you actually make decisions, makes the important reasoning behind your judgment explicit, and challenges the developing method rather than assuming the first convincing AI answer is correct.

Each stage has a purpose beyond completing another exercise. The journey is designed to challenge the method with independent cases, examine it in supervised real business use when appropriate, and prepare your Decision Application for a responsible handoff. Weaknesses may require revision, missing evidence may require a pause, and decisions requiring your authority remain yours. The intended result is something more valuable than a collection of AI responses: an owner-governed Decision Application whose reasoning, testing, and limitations you can understand, maintain, and carry forward.

THE SIX-STAGE JOURNEY
01
Choose a Decision
Choose one recurring business decision that carries real consequences. Define its boundaries and identify the past examples, evidence, and repeatable judgment needed to examine and test it responsibly.

02
Show Me How You Decide
Examine real past decisions and the evidence behind them to uncover which facts mattered, how tradeoffs were weighed, and where exceptions changed your judgment. Keep missing information, contradictions, assumptions, and uncertainty visible rather than turning guesses into rules.

03
Pressure-Test My Judgment
Challenge the developing Decision Method with independent cases that were not used to build it. Examine whether the reasoning holds when facts change, exceptions appear, or important evidence is missing. Identify weaknesses, revise where justified, and test again before relying on the method.

04
Put It to Work
When the developing application is ready for this stage, examine it in supervised real business use. Review how it handles actual decisions, compare its reasoning with the evidence and your standards, and record meaningful corrections, exceptions, and interventions. Use what you learn to refine and retest the method while keeping decision authority where it belongs.

05
Install My Decision Application
Prepare your Decision Application for durable use in an appropriate, authorized environment. Keep the Decision Method, Regression Test Pack, and Version & Change Record connected so the current version, decision boundaries, and required checks remain clear. Verify that important behavior still holds before treating an installation or meaningful change as ready for use.

06
Complete Handoff
Bring the complete Decision Application together and examine whether it is genuinely ready for continued use. Confirm which version governs, what testing and real-use evidence supports it, where its limits remain, and when your judgment or approval is still required. Complete the handoff only when the application and its supporting evidence justify that readiness, leaving you with a result you can understand, challenge, maintain, and govern.

JUDGMENT NEEDS BOUNDARIES

Make the Reasoning More Visible Without Pretending the Uncertainty Is Gone.

A Decision Application needs more than a convincing answer. It needs a reliable basis for understanding what the evidence supports, where uncertainty remains, and when a different circumstance calls for different judgment. TPT Decision Builder is being developed to make those distinctions explicit, challenge assumptions before they become operating rules, and preserve your authority over consequential decisions. The goal is not an AI system that confidently answers everything. It's an owner-governed application designed to recognize its limits, respect established boundaries, and make clear when more evidence, further testing, or human judgment is required.

01

Start With What the Evidence Actually Supports

Real past decisions are the starting point, but not every detail will be documented or certain. Your Decision Application is designed to distinguish what the evidence actually shows from what you remember, what must be inferred, and what remains unknown. Missing information should remain visible as something to investigate, not become an assumption disguised as a reliable decision rule.

02

Test the Judgment, Not Just the Answer

A convincing AI answer is not proof that the reasoning will hold in another situation. Decision Builder is designed to challenge the developing method with independent cases, including situations involving different facts, missing evidence, or unexpected exceptions. These tests are intended to expose weaknesses, identify where the reasoning needs correction, and reveal boundaries that must be respected before the method can be relied upon.

03

Keep the Owner in Control

Your Decision Application is designed to make clear what can proceed within established boundaries, what still requires your review or approval, and when the responsible answer is “not yet.” AI can help apply your decision standards, but it does not inherit your authority. You remain responsible for governing the method, challenging questionable results, and deciding when circumstances require your judgment rather than an automated recommendation.

04

Use the Right Information, Setting, and Authority

Just because an AI tool can accept information or produce an answer does not mean you have permission to use it that way. Your Decision Application must operate with authorized information, in an appropriate environment, and within established decision authority. Sensitive material may need to be redacted, summarized, substituted, or excluded, while some decisions still require qualified professional expertise. These boundaries are essential to responsible use, not obstacles to work around.

IS YOUR DECISION A GOOD FIT?

For Owner-Operators With One Recurring Decision Family Worth Making Explicit

TPT Decision Builder is being developed for overloaded owner-operators across industries who face one consequential kind of business decision repeatedly, yet the reasoning behind it still depends heavily on them. The aim is to address unnecessary dependence on that judgment, not remove you from decisions where your involvement and authority are genuinely required.

A strong starting point is a decision that involves more than following a simple checklist. Different facts, competing tradeoffs, customer circumstances, or meaningful exceptions can change the appropriate answer. Yet enough of the underlying reasoning remains consistent that it can be made explicit, examined, challenged, and tested rather than reconstructed every time the decision returns.

You also need something real to work from: previous decisions, useful evidence, and an understanding of what made those situations different. Your records do not have to be perfect, but there must be enough information to investigate how the decisions were made. The consequences should matter enough to justify building and maintaining a Decision Application, and your business must have conditions that allow responsible testing under your continued oversight.

Not every recurring task belongs in Decision Builder. Straightforward automation, generic AI training, and decisions that should remain with qualified professional expertise are not its intended purpose. Even an important decision may be the wrong first build if the scope is too broad, the evidence is too thin, or responsible testing is not yet possible. The best starting point is one meaningful decision family whose reasoning, boundaries, and results you can examine and ultimately govern.

CURRENT STATUS

In Development. Not Available for Purchase.

TPT Decision Builder is still being developed and qualified. The intended customer-created result, My Decision Application, has already been defined: a structured Decision Method, retained testing, and a Version & Change Record. The goal is clear, but the complete guided experience is not yet available for purchase.

Before we offer Decision Builder, the customer-facing experience, supported environments, delivery and access process, and claims about real-world use must be completed and verified. We want you to understand what you're purchasing, what the experience is designed to help you build, and what has actually been demonstrated. Those details will be presented when they can be supported by evidence, not simply because the product is approaching release.

PART OF TPT ORIGINALS

The Guided Build Is the Product Experience. The Decision Application Is the Result You Create.

TPT Decision Builder is being developed as a TPT Original, part of our first-party product family built around specific owner-operator problems that deserve more than general advice. The Builder is the guided construction and testing experience being developed; My Decision Application is the intended customer-created result, bringing your Decision Method, retained tests, and change record together. One helps you do the work. The other is designed to help you carry your judgment forward with clearer boundaries, a basis for continued testing, and decision authority that remains yours.
