This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle information when you visit or interact with our website, use our tools, subscribe to Growth Notes, contact us, create an account, or make a purchase.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to provide and certain technical or usage information generated when you use the website and its services.
- Information you provide when making a purchase or creating an account
- Information you provide when contacting us or requesting support
- Your name and email address when you subscribe to Growth Notes
- Technical and usage information associated with website activity, analytics, cookies, browser storage, store functionality, security, and similar technologies
WooCommerce and Store Purchases
Our website uses WooCommerce to sell digital products.
- The current digital checkout requests customer information such as first name, last name, and email address
- Guest checkout is available
- Customers may also log in or create an account where those options are offered
- WooCommerce may retain customer, account, order, access, and transaction-related records used to operate and support the store
Payment Processing
Payments are processed through WooPayments and its payment platform.
- The payment provider may request information needed to process and secure the transaction, including payment-card details
- Saved-card functionality is available, and saved card details are stored by the payment platform rather than directly on The Progress Toolkit website
- WooCommerce and related systems may still retain order, transaction, payment-status, and other payment-related records associated with a purchase
Affiliate Links and Third-Party Websites
Our website may include reviews, recommendations, affiliate links, and links to other third-party websites.
- Clicking an affiliate or external link may redirect you to a third-party website
- Third-party websites may use their own cookies, tracking technologies, and data-processing practices
- We do not control how third-party websites collect, use, or retain information
- Please review the applicable third-party privacy policies before providing personal information
Interactive Tools and Applications
Our website includes browser-based interactive tools, including Priority Filter, Focus Style Quiz, Morning Routine Generator, and Daily Reset Planner.
- Under the current implementation, the answer and result state used by these tools is processed within the browser during the active tool session
- The current tools do not persist that answer or result state through local storage, session storage, cookies, WordPress user storage, or a TPT database
- Refreshing or leaving the active tool experience may reset that tool state
- Site-level analytics and other technical website activity operate separately from the tool-answer state described above
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies to support analytics, website security, store and cart functionality, payment processing, and other website features.
- Google Analytics uses cookies or identifiers as part of website measurement
- WooCommerce uses browser or session storage to support cart and store functionality
- Payment providers may use their own cookies, identifiers, or browser technologies during the purchase process
- Website infrastructure and security services may also use cookies or similar technologies
- Third-party websites reached through affiliate or external links may use their own cookies and tracking technologies
- You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website or store functionality
Analytics and Website Performance
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to help evaluate website performance, content, and user experience.
- Google Analytics may collect technical and usage information associated with website visits and interactions
- Analytics cookies and identifiers are currently used on the website
- Analytics information may be used to understand traffic, content use, acquisition sources, engagement, and website performance
- We do not describe all analytics data as categorically anonymous or guarantee that every analytics record is incapable of being associated with an individual visitor
Growth Notes and Email
Growth Notes is The Progress Toolkit’s current email subscriber program. MailerLite is used to manage the Growth Notes subscriber relationship and email delivery.
- When you subscribe to Growth Notes, the current signup process requests your name and email address
- Subscriber information is provided to MailerLite for Growth Notes subscription and email delivery
- Growth Notes includes an unsubscribe option so you can stop receiving Growth Notes emails
- We separately measure successful Growth Notes signups through Google Analytics using signup-event and signup-surface information
- Under the current measurement setup, the Growth Notes analytics event uses the signup surface identifier rather than the subscriber’s name or email address

- Process purchases and provide access to digital products
- Operate and manage customer accounts where applicable
- Respond to customer questions and support requests
- Manage Growth Notes subscriptions and email delivery

Data Retention
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it is used, the system or service involved, and applicable legal or operational requirements.

- Purchase, accounting, fraud-prevention, customer-support, and legal records may be retained where needed for those purposes
- MailerLite, Google Analytics, DreamHost, ClickUp, payment providers, and other service providers may retain information according to their own systems, settings, and applicable policies
- We do not apply or promise one universal retention period across every system or type of information

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to personal information, including rights to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you
